Sterilite Stack and Carry Organizers Used for Nail Polish, Nail Art, and Nail Supplies

Today at Target I picked up two Stack and Carry Sterilite Organizers which I purchased to organize my growing pile of nail polishes and nail art supplies. I purchased one in the size 14 3/8 x 10 3/4 x 7 5/8 and one in the size 10 5/8 x 7 1/4 x 7 5/8. Now these are great laching type organizers which you can use for anything, you could even use it for makeup or hair supplies etc. I purchased these both in store at my local Target. They do not carry these online, I believe they carry these on Amazon but they are way more expensive on Amazon then they are instore at Target. I purchased both the small size and the larger size for $7.99 each.

So lets get to the bottom line...
Are they worth the money? Yes! They are way better than nail polish bags. Also they are great if you don't want to display a polish rack, you can easily hide them in a closet or under the bed.
Do they hold a lot? Yes! They hold plenty!! I will post pictures where you will see how many polishes are in the containers, and I still have room for more.
Are they sturdy? Yes! For the amount of polishes I have in the case, I can easily pick it up by the handle without the laches coming undone because of the weight.

Pictures you say?!?! Well here they are:
image
This is the smaller organizer, it has three detachable layers. All layers are secured with laches on each side including the cover.

image
This is the larger organizer as noted with the smaller organizer all layers are detachable and are secured by a latch on each side including the lid.

image
Here's a side view of the laches.

image
This is the first layer of the larger organizer. I have all my acrylic paints ( for ombre nails), glitter polishes, and nail art polishes in this layer.

image
This is the bottom layer of the larger organizer as you can see I have quite a bit of polishes and still have room for more.

image
Top of the smaller organizer. It has a green insert that can be taken out if wanted, I have all my little nail art gems, tape and other misc. nail art items in here that are small.

image
As you can see the green insert is easily removable.

image
This is the second layer of the smaller organizer where I have nail polish remover, nail tools, files, and nail polish thinner.

image
The bottom layer of the small organizer is empty as of now but most likely I will be putting my artificial nails in this section with nail glue. I took the picture with the layers stacked like this so you can see that all the layers are detachable. Also if you wanted to you can add more layers if you purchased another set.

All in all I'm glad I purchased these organizers, they are definitely better than the cosmetic bags that I had all my nail polishes in, and for $7.99 per organizer its a steal! Beauty on a budget strikes again!

*These items where purchased with my own money, Target nor Sterilite have not paid me or gifted me with any items. This review is my opinion and my opinion alone.*

Jergens Natural Glow (reformulated) Daily Moisturizer - No Odor?!?

I recently purchased Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer in Medium to Tan. After spending most of this summer outdoors I'm very bronzed however the back of my legs and my inner arms, not so much. I happened to be walking around Wal-Mart in the Beauty Department ( where else would I be lol) and saw this on the top shelf with the little pink circle on it which reads " Finally! Great Color Without Odor!" plus I have to admit the banner on the product that reads " + Firming Daily Moisturizer" kind of sold me.  I mean I'm young and I'm all for things that will keep my skin firm.

As most people know the ingredient Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is the active ingredient in all self tanners. Now this ingredient has a very unique smell, and often very strong and through out the day you can normally smell it more and more. So I was very skeptical that it would be Odorless, as I am not new to the self tanning world.
When I first opened this to smell it I will say that it is not "Not Odorless". It has a perfume smell that is covering up the DHA smell. I wouldn't say that it smells bad but smells more of a lotion but with more perfume in it.
When I first applied this product I did notice how hydrating the product was on my skin, which is a plus! The product comes out an off white/ crème color and rubs in completely clear. I did apply this product at night, since its better to apply after you have exfoliated your skin first.

After a few applications my inner arms now match my outer arms, there is no streaking and I have gotten used to the smell however, when I do apply I still apply at night. When I did apply in the AM I did notice the increasing smell of the DHA which isn't pleasant, plus I'm sure you don't want to smell like self tanner during the day.

Here's a picture of my inner arm which you can see there is no streaking but even coverage:

Overall this product is evenly coloring my skin gradually, although it is not completely odorless like it suggests this product doesn't have the smell like it used to before they reformulated it. Also I find that this new formula has better moisturizing properties to it than the old one as well. For an drug store self tanner its one of the better ones.
I purchased this product for $8.64 at Wal-Mart  ( which is available in store as well as online). www.walmart.com

Ulta's 56 Piece Beauty in a Flash Collection

So recently I was on www.ulta.com, when am I not?!?!? Anyways I ended seeing that they had their 56 pc Beauty in a Flash Collection on sale ( reg. $24.99) it was $19.99.I decided to order it since I don't own any products by Ulta the company. The Collection includes ( for those wondering):
  • 12 Eye Shadow Palettes ( 48 shades)
  •  3 Blush Shades
  • 1 Bronzer
  • 2 Dual-Ended Eye Liners
  • 2 Super Shiny Lip Glosses
  • Beauty Guide, Applicators & Removable Mirror
  • The reusable case is perfect for travel & on the go beauty fixes or remove the products and use it for a tablet or netbook.
Today I decided to play around with the kit and swatch the colors for you. My first thought on the product before opening the kit was that I couldn't even tell it was made by Ulta until I saw the Ulta logo on the little Zipper.
imageimage
While I was swatching colors I did notice that the shadows are very pigmented and went on smoothly, I also did not break out or get a rash which was a plus since I have very sensitive skin.
Here's the part you have been waiting for...... the swatches!!!
image
The first color I swatched was this beautiful Barbie pink cheek color in the color "Playful".

image
This is another "cheek" color, the name of the color is called Adore. Honestly I don't know how they can call this a cheek color. I think of it as more of a bronzer than a cheek color.

image
This is Ulta's Super Shinny Gloss in #03 Charmed, its a pretty pearly baby pink, it felt a bit sticky to me on the hand but then again most glosses are.

image
The First mini palette of colors is called "Reboot". This little mini set is all matte colors. The colors include:
  • Butter Cream
  • Au Natural
  • Sable
  • Milk Chocolate

image
Second Mini Palette is called "Byte". The colors in this mini set are all pearly except for the blue which has mini pieces of glitter in it. The colors include:
  • Lustre
  • Moody
  • Plum Smoke
  • Electronic Lights

image
Third Mini Palette is called "Eye Candy". This mini set has what I like to call "fall colors". All the colors are pearly. The colors include:
  • Glittering Sand
  • Willow
  • Amethyst
  • Café Ole

image
Fourth Mini Palette is called "Hot Spot". The colors in this mini set have two pearly colors, one glitter color and one matte. The colors include:
  • Iceland
  • Twilight
  • Galaxy
  • Blackout

image
Fifth Mini Palette is called " Cyber Chic". The colors in this mini set are mostly matte colors except there is one pearly color. The colors include:
  • Bone
  • Callalily
  • Grace
  • Stand By Me

image
Sixth Mini Palette is called "Cookie". The colors in this mini set are all pearly colors. The colors include:
  • Bloom
  • Zephyr
  • Majesty
  • Plum Noir

image
This is the third blush in the set called "Bashful". Its a pretty coral color, and reminded me of NARS Orgasm blush and of Benefits Bella Bamba but without the golden undertones.

image
The set like I listed above contains two Dual- Ended Eye liners in the colors: Black/ Brown & Majesty/ Envy. The eyeliners went on smoothly which is a plus. I really can't wait to play around with the purple one.

image
The bronzer in this kit is called " Glow", it literally is the same color as my skin at the moment since I've gotten so tan this summer so you can't even see the swatch. So there's not much I can say about this one.

image
Seventh Mini Palette is called " Unplugged". The colors are all pearly, the colors include:
  • Moonbeam
  • Peacock
  • Cobalt
  • Sin City

image
Eighth Mini Palette is called " Icon" and again these colors reminded me of fall. All the colors are pearly, colors include:
  • In The Buff
  • Copper Bronze
  • Firework
  • Mink

image
The ninth Mini Palette is called "Refresh", all the colors are pearly except for one which is matte. The colors include:
  • Sage
  • Ivy League
  • Verdigris
  • Golden Olive

image
The tenth Mini Palette is called " Showstopper" all the colors are pearly in this set as well. The colors include:
  • Stardust
  • Sunburst
  • Aztec Gold
  • Brown Sugar

image
The Eleventh Mini Palette is called "Java" I feel that it is appropriately named since they are all nude colors, these colors are all pearly as well. The colors include:
  • Silk
  • Lustre
  • Truffle
  • Toast

image
The last mini palette in the set is called " Attached" all these colors are matte. Colors include:
  • Naked
  • Yogurt
  • Lock & Key
  • Havana Nights

image
The second Ulta Super Shiny Gloss is #17 Illusion. This color is a very pearly coral color which is really pretty.

image
The last thing in the set is this Beauty in a Flash look card that shows you different eye shadow looks with the corresponding color, which is helpful for beginners or for people that need eye shadow ideas.
All in all this set is what I like to call a "Beauty on a Budget" item. Its great for people that like a little of everything. However,I do not recommend it to people that dislike pearly colors since most of the colors are pearly. I also wish they would have put more colors besides nudes, blues, blacks and purples. I'm hoping they come out with a set with bright colors since that is more up my ally. I do however, like this set and am looking forward to playing around with it some more.
For all those interested the product number for this is: 2257949 and can be purchased on www.ulta.com while supplies last.
